Back Garden Turf and Planting

The Brief:

Our back garden is overgrown and it lacks of care; it needs a tidy up.

What we provided

Lawn Seeding and Turf

We removed the already existing turf with a spade; we cleared the are from stones and weeds. We levelled the surface to make it smooth, and then we laid the new turf avoiding stepping on it. Finally, we watered the lawn with a hose pipe, until the water has soaked through the soil beneath the newly laid turf.

Planting And Hedging

To decorate the garden we built raised flower bed, placing one of the on top of the other. Inside the flower beds we planted some shrubs of different sizes. The raised flower beds were then filled in with some white gravel.

Slatted Raised Bed

To decorate the other side of the garden we create another raised flower bed, adding an iron trellis which we painted black. To give the trellis a more decorative function we planted two climbing vines. To finish, we filled the space between the two trellis by adding a mirror.
